Our tee-ball league is designed as an introductory program where kids learn baseball basics in a fun, indoor environment. Our coaches are baseball and softball players that have worked numerous summer camps, so they not only know how to play and teach the game, they also know how to work with young children. Our young tee-ball players gain experience being part of a team while learning batting, catching, throwing and fielding. Since kids at this age are still developing hand-eye coordination, they are taught the proper batting technique by hitting a baseball off a tee. Over the course of the season, your players learn the game and gain confidence in their new skills.

The Top Gun College Softball Combine is designed for high school (Class of 2021, 2022, & 2023) softball players that want to be evaluated by, and showcase themselves to, college coaches. The Combine is for players focused on who want to showcase their skills to prospective coaches. The Combine will feature instruction and feedback from active college coaches seeking players to fill out their rosters. At the end of the Combine, there will be an opportunity for short one-on-one meetings with two college coaches of the player’s choice.
During registration, use the remarks/comments area to identify the colleges whose coaches the player would like to have a short Q&A with.
The Top Gun College Softball Combine will feature measurements and instruction on the latest metrics in softball, including exit velocity off the bat, throwing velocity, pop-times, timed sprints and others. The college coaches in attendance will not only provide these metrics but will also instruct attendees on how to improve them. The Combine is open to all high school softball players and, to maximize visibility for its attendees, will have limited enrollment with the player-to-coach ratio not exceeding 6:1. The Top Gun College Softball Combine is in compliance with all NCAA rules.

Jan 2nd Pitcher Catcher Hitter Training Day!
Pitchers this is a day of training led by a current professional baseball player. AAA pitcher, Kolton Mahoney. Three different sessions for 3 different experience levels.
BEGINNING PITCHERS’ CLINIC
Start: 9:30AM (90 mins) Ages 7-10 Fee $65
Teaching young pitchers to focus on throwing with a purpose by incorporating good balance, timing, and rhythm into repeatable mechanics.
INTERMEDIATE PITCHERS’ CLINIC
Start: 11:30AM (2 hours) Ages 10-14 Fee $85
A comprehensive clinic that will focus progressive throwing drills to isolate body mechanics to improve accuracy and velocity. This clinic will introduce off-speed pitch control. Data captured will include velocity, spin rate, & spin efficiency;
measured by Rapsodo.
PITCH Design (limit 6 pitchers)- PREREQUISITE -already attended Kolton's Intermediate Clinics (11/27, 12/19 or 1/2) Two sessions to choose from:
Start: 1:30PM (90 mins) Ages 11-13 Fee $80
Start: 3:30PM (90 mins) Ages 14-18 Fee $90
90 percent of this session will be on the Rapsodo. The Rapsodo will be used to measure velocity, spin rate, & spin efficiency. Kolton will teach each pitcher how to more efficiently spin the ball to gain more velocity, control, and movement of each pitch. The Rapsodo will track ball rotation and spin efficiency to improve the movement of your 2-seam fastball and off-speed pitches.
Catcher 3-Skills Clinic Fee $135
Receiving, Blocking, Throwing
Start: 10AM (3 hours) All Ages Baseball~Softball
A comprehensive 3-hour clinic; one-hour each of basic training in Receiving, Blocking, and Throwing; with emphasis on instructions, training and activity. Instruction begins with the BASICS, then ADVANCES based on the group's experience to relate game-like situations. Each technique is demonstrated, then drills are practiced to reinforce each skill.
Alumni* Training - Next Level Catcher Fee $135
*PREREQUISITE -already attended any CatcherGuru 3-Skills Clinic
Start: 1:30PM (3 hours) Ages 11-18 Baseball~Softball
This class takes Coach Rick's 3-Skills Clinic to the next level. Coach Rick has already drilled the fundamentals of catching into your catcher, so here come the advanced techniques designed to build the complete catcher. Situational catching, being the leader on the field, making your pitcher look good, being selectively aggressive, making smart throws, and more...
The last hour will focus on improving your catcher's Pop-Time!
Batting Practice for anyone!
HitTrax Hitting Metrics! 4 different sessions!
Start: 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM (60 mins each) Fee $25
After a few minutes of warmup on the tee, live pitching will commence. Each batter (baseball or softball) will get an equal number of swings and we will periodically look at the results that HitTrax provides to make adjustments to the hitter's approach and mentality at the plate. HitTrax provides a lot of metrics that can provide instant feedback, as well as show trends over weeks, months, and years. Sessions are 60 minutes and $40. Limit 6 athletes.

Coach Cayla will take you through the ins and outs of college recruiting! She will present a seminar explaining everything that student-athletes and parents need to know about the college recruiting process. Including:

· Understanding scholarships
· NCAA Eligibility Center
· How to get colleges to recruit you
· Overall end goal of college athletics
About Coach Cayla:
Coach Cayla is a former division one college softball player with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the recruiting process. She holds school and conference records and has various conference and national accolades. Coach Cayla prides herself on helping those who are interested in playing at the next level. She is a current high school math and computer science teacher, high school volleyball and softball coach, as well as a private instructor here at Top Gun. She understands what needs to be done when it comes to athletics and academics in order to play at the next level.

Alexis Bazos recently moved to Baltimore to pursue a career in Corporate Strategy for Under Armour. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May, where she was a switch-hitting outfielder on the softball team. Alexis was a DI All-America Scholar Athlete, and a 4x All-ACC Academic Honor member.
She also plays for the Greek National Softball team, and has played professionally for Bussolengo in Italy.

We have started registration for our Fall 2020 Indoor Kickball League. Wednesdays are for ages 8-11 at 5pm starting 10/28/2020. (Have 12-13-year-olds? Please read blue highlight below).
We have 3 teams "mostly" formed for the Wednesday League. We are looking for 7-10 players for Team #4 - The One Kick Wonders; and we are hoping for a few more girls to help complete teams 1, 2, and 3. If someone wants to run with Team 4 to try to form/fill their own team, please let me know ASAP.
Four (4) Co-Ed Teams - 11 Weeks of Team Play
Teams can roster up to 10 players of age 8 - 11
Up to 7 players on the field playing defense (2 must be girls), all players in attendance are allowed to kick.
$125 per player for the 10-week league
Siblings cost is only $100 if they represent roster spot number 8, 9, or 10 of the team
Double-headers will be played each Wednesday starting at 5pm.

Time: Thursday, Apr 23, 2020 03:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)The PLAN: I spoke with some of you about this BETA test of the online training curriculum that Top Gun is putting together to help get some kids off the couch and practicing a little baseball/softball again. This is our first crack at it. Our first Zoom training session and you have been personally selected to attend! What will you need? Preferably a safe location for your child to watch and mimic our coaches as they go through a variety of hitting drills off of a tee. So, a safe location in front of a laptop, iPad, etc, a tee, a net to hit into, some tennis balls or whiffle balls or baseballs (whatever is best suited for your hitting environment). Watch for our future ZOOM invites to other FREE classes (speed & agility, fielding & throwing mechanics, catchers training, pitchers training, & more).
Don't have a tee, net, or more than a ball or two? We have some equipment for sale (Tanner tees, Franklin pop-up sock nets, Baden baseballs) and I did a recon trip to the Eldersburg Walmart they also have anything and everything you might need in stock. Call me to arrange a time for curbside pick at Top Gun for anything you might want to purchase from us.
