Jan 2nd Pitcher Catcher Hitter Training Day!

Pitchers this is a day of training led by a current professional baseball player. AAA pitcher, Kolton Mahoney. Three different sessions for 3 different experience levels.

BEGINNING PITCHERS’ CLINIC

Start: 9:30AM (90 mins) Ages 7-10 Fee $65

Teaching young pitchers to focus on throwing with a purpose by incorporating good balance, timing, and rhythm into repeatable mechanics.

INTERMEDIATE PITCHERS’ CLINIC

Start: 11:30AM (2 hours) Ages 10-14 Fee $85

A comprehensive clinic that will focus progressive throwing drills to isolate body mechanics to improve accuracy and velocity. This clinic will introduce off-speed pitch control. Data captured will include velocity, spin rate, & spin efficiency;

measured by Rapsodo.

PITCH Design (limit 6 pitchers)- PREREQUISITE -already attended Kolton's Intermediate Clinics (11/27, 12/19 or 1/2) Two sessions to choose from:

Start: 1:30PM (90 mins) Ages 11-13 Fee $80

Start: 3:30PM (90 mins) Ages 14-18 Fee $90

90 percent of this session will be on the Rapsodo. The Rapsodo will be used to measure velocity, spin rate, & spin efficiency. Kolton will teach each pitcher how to more efficiently spin the ball to gain more velocity, control, and movement of each pitch. The Rapsodo will track ball rotation and spin efficiency to improve the movement of your 2-seam fastball and off-speed pitches.

Catcher 3-Skills Clinic Fee $135

Receiving, Blocking, Throwing

Start: 10AM (3 hours) All Ages Baseball~Softball

A comprehensive 3-hour clinic; one-hour each of basic training in Receiving, Blocking, and Throwing; with emphasis on instructions, training and activity. Instruction begins with the BASICS, then ADVANCES based on the group's experience to relate game-like situations. Each technique is demonstrated, then drills are practiced to reinforce each skill.

Alumni* Training - Next Level Catcher Fee $135

*PREREQUISITE -already attended any CatcherGuru 3-Skills Clinic

Start: 1:30PM (3 hours) Ages 11-18 Baseball~Softball

This class takes Coach Rick's 3-Skills Clinic to the next level. Coach Rick has already drilled the fundamentals of catching into your catcher, so here come the advanced techniques designed to build the complete catcher. Situational catching, being the leader on the field, making your pitcher look good, being selectively aggressive, making smart throws, and more...

The last hour will focus on improving your catcher's Pop-Time!

Batting Practice for anyone!

HitTrax Hitting Metrics! 4 different sessions!

Start: 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM (60 mins each) Fee $25

After a few minutes of warmup on the tee, live pitching will commence. Each batter (baseball or softball) will get an equal number of swings and we will periodically look at the results that HitTrax provides to make adjustments to the hitter's approach and mentality at the plate. HitTrax provides a lot of metrics that can provide instant feedback, as well as show trends over weeks, months, and years. Sessions are 60 minutes and $40. Limit 6 athletes.
